Learning about God’s Grace

Children's Sunday School

Children are an important part of who we are as a congregation.  Over the years, thousands of children have learned about Jesus at Bethany’s Sunday School.

We teach children in exciting ways, encouraging them to grow in faith as they grow in stature. We want Sunday School children to enjoy their church experience and to know that God is fun, creative, and loves them.

Sunday School classes are held during the school year (September-May) on Sunday mornings at 9:15AM.

The Kindness Chain

Join the Children of Bethany this month in creating a Kindness Chain. Each week, there are suggestions of ways you can spread kindness among your family, neighbors, and in the community. Report your kind activities in this Google Form. Each kind act will add a link to our Kindness Chain. When we check in during worship each week, we’ll see how our acts of kindness add up and stretch
out into our community. The whole congregation is invited to participate.

Confirmation &

First Communion Classes

Bethany’s confirmation program helps middle school  students begin to understand their part in God’s ongoing story.  Besides attending confirmation classes, confirmation students also take part in worship leadership and in service activities.

Adult Christian Learning

Christian Education isn’t just for the young!  There’s always more to learn about God, about God’s creation...and about our purpose on earth.  Bethany offers opportunities to learn about those topics and more every Sunday Morning at 9:30 AM (September-May)  Engaging a variety of methods, this time of fellowship and learning includes studies focussed on scripture, contemporary topics related to faith and stimulating discussion.  Come once or come often!

Study on Racism - New for 2020

With the disproportionate rate at which racial minorities have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic and the continued impact of systemic racism that has lead to the deaths of so many, we at Bethany are committed to educating ourselves on issues regarding systemic racism, understanding our place in these sytems, and committing to a healthy dialouge around these topics.
